Pete Lee is a London-based pianist, keyboardist, composer and musical director.

A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, Pete has built an international career as one of the UK’s leading session keyboardists, performing across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia with artists including Tom Walker, Katie Melua, Bruno Major and Gabrielle Aplin. His work has taken him from intimate jazz clubs to sold-out arenas, concert halls, major festivals and television broadcasts around the world.

Since joining Tom Walker in 2017, Pete has recorded piano and synthesizers on Walker’s No. 1 album What A Time To Be Alive and performed more than 400 shows throughout its worldwide campaign. Alongside his touring work, he prepares scores and transcriptions for Bruno Major’s commercial releases and has contributed keyboards, production and arrangements to recordings by Gabrielle Aplin.

Originally emerging from the contemporary jazz scene, Pete has performed at leading UK jazz festivals and venues including the EFG London Jazz Festival, Manchester Jazz Festival and Ronnie Scott’s, both as a sideman and with his own projects. His debut album, The Velvet Rage, received critical acclaim, with All About Jazz describing it as “unequivocally excellent”.

Whether performing with an orchestra, accompanying singer-songwriters or leading his own ensemble, Pete brings the same musicality, versatility and attention to detail that have made him a trusted collaborator on stages and in studios worldwide.
